Joy Woods Jones
Joy Woods-Jones began working for the Grandma's Kids Kinship Support and After-School Program in 2005. Mrs. Woods-Jones currently supervises a staff of approximately 15 people and oversees the after school program in four school sites.
Joy started her career in Social Services in 1999 as a Kinship Case Manager for children in Foster Care at the North East Treatment Center (NET) in Philadelphia, PA. She has also worked as a case manager for the Pediatric Enhanced Detection Project with the Health Federation of Philadelphia. Prior to Social Services, she was a modern dancer for 15 years and also worked in radio as music director and on-air announcer. Some of her favorite past times are writing, cooking and visual art. She has six beautiful children and a loving husband and resides in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA.
Ms. Jones possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting and Masters in Social Work from Temple University.
