Jenny Zapf
Jenny Zapf, Ph.D. serves as the Associate Director of the Intergenerational Center at Temple University, an organization that uses innovative, cross-age approaches to strengthen vulnerable communities. Dr. Zapf also heads the Center’s Family Caregiver Support Division which serves families raising children with special needs, kinship caregivers and those caring for a frail elder in their home.
Her experience in the non profit/public sector has included positions as National Program Manager for a comprehensive school reform initiative at the University of Pennsylvania and Senior Evaluator for the Center for Assessment and Policy Development. Dr. Zapf has worked for more than two decades with foundations, state and local organizations to improve educational and social outcomes for children, families and communities. For ten of those years, she worked as an educational consultant providing evaluation, training, and technical assistance to national service projects around the country.
Jenny received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in Educational Evaluation, a M.A. in Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University, and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
