Building Community Capacity

In addition to specific programs, the Center spearheads two initiatives designed to help communities enhance the capacity of individuals and organizations to work together to improve the quality of life for all and create long-lasting change.

 
Coming of Age  -- a partnership of The Intergenerational Center, WHYY, AARP Pennsylvania and United Way of Southern Pennsylvania that helps promote 50+ civic engagement in Philadelphia and nationally.

Communities for All Ages -- a 23 site national initiative that helps communities address critical issues from a multi-generational perspective and promote the well-being of all generations.
